• There will be swelling for the first 3-5 days.

• It is not necessary to ice the area but you can apply an ice pack on and off throughout the first day.

• ​Apply an ice pack for 4-5 minutes on and off throughout the first day.

• The first two days, wash your face with a gentle cleanser (Vanicream, Cetaphil or CeraVe gentle cleanser) and apply Vaseline or healing ointment over this (ointment brand can be Vanicream, CeraVe or Cetaphil) twice a day.​

• After the first two days, you can resume your normal skin care routine.
